Looking for a part time
Brew Assistant.
To assist with; packaging, cleaning, serving customers, maintenance duties at the brewery and to provides support to the brewhouse. Duties will include, but will not be limited to, assisting with brewing and packaging beer, running tests on products in progress, following cleaning, maintenance schedule and procedures, making deliveries to customers, following our inventory management practices, and working with other members of the team to ensure all beer that leaves the facility is of the highest quality and that the brewery is kept clean, functional, and up to Bermuda Craft Brewing standards at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in brewing beer
- Assist with retail brewery sales
- Packaging beverages with appropriate labels
- Running tests on products to detect inconsistent or contaminated batches
- Keeping track of inventory and alerting appropriate parties when running low on raw materials
- Assisting with prep work, including milling, mashing, boiling, transferring, cooling, and cleaning
- Keeping the facility clean and functional
- Performing any necessary maintenance, including equipment inspection
- Participating in beer tasting to monitor quality and consistency
- Labeling cans, kegs, and containers appropriately
- Completing accurate paperwork as needed
- Working with the team to make adjustments to daily operations
- Making deliveries to customers
- Service filed equipment
- Front facing
- Perform all required cleanings to the appropriate standard including tanks,
Brewhouse, kegs and other packaging, packaging line and other equipment as directed.
Necessary Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- Team player, ability to work with the team to further company goals
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and reposition kegs (up to 130 pounds) as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- TIPS certified
